FAQ

Questions

What do I need to run SightLine?

A Windows 10 or 11 PC and an internet connection for map imagery and activation. The installer needs no admin rights.

Where are my maps stored?

On your PC, in your Documents folder. You can also save any map as a project file, and teams can turn on SharePoint sharing in Settings.

How does activation work?

Enter your product key the first time SightLine starts. The key activates that PC; you can move it to a new PC later.

Are the camera specs exact?

They are planning values from manufacturer datasheets. Always confirm against the current datasheet before you quote. You can edit any model or add your own.

Can I use my own logo on reports?

Reports carry your company name and the installation conditions you set in Settings.
